Here are some [Cool Places in Southern California](http://stuffo.howstuffworks.com/cp-ca.htm) that I found on [HowStuffWorks](http://howstuffworks.com/). I plan on checking out most of them throughout 2005... I will post pictures.:
The other day when [I posted my old pictures](http://eecue.com/log_archive/eecue-log-161-Photos_of_One_Wilshire__Los_Angeles_Meet_Me_Room_.html) from [One Wilshire](http://www.onewilshire.com/) I did a bit of [research](http://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&lr=&safe=off&c2coff=1&q=one+wilshire&btnG=Search) and found out some interesting facts. [One Wilshire](http://www.thecarlylegroup.com/eng/geo/geoportl5-2021.html) is owned and managed by the [Carlyle Group](http://www.thecarlylegroup.com/), which is everyone's favorite Bush Family mega-corp which [makes billions from the war on terrorism](http://www.hereinreality.com/carlyle.html). I wonder why they would want the [most expensive real estate](http://www.audc.org/expensive/index.html) in North America, which happens to be the name of a [really cool art / architecture exhibit](http://www.audc.org/expensive/booklet/onewilshire01.html). Here is a excerpt from the study: One Wilshire is the [meet-me room for over 240 of big players in the telecom industry](http://www.carrierhotels.com/properties/onewilshire/index.shtml). Everyone who is anyone is located there and they all interconnect for free as they are in the same big room. I also found some neat stuff like the [Tenant Handbook](http://www.onewilshire.com/resource_center/pdf/Tenant_Handbook.pdf) and an [Elevator / Card Key](http://www.onewilshire.com/resource_center/pdf/_Access_Card-Key_Request.pdf) request form.
