This deep-sky astrophotography image captures NGC2245, a faint nebula complex surrounded by a rich star field. The image was created using narrowband filters (SII, Ha, OIII) combined in the SHO palette, which reveals the nebula's delicate blue-gray clouds of gas and dust. Multiple bright stars are visible within and around the nebula, with the nebulosity extending across the frame in wispy, ethereal structures. Shot from a backyard observatory using a ZWO ASI533MM Pro monochrome camera and TMB-92 APO refractor, this composite showcases the subtle details achievable with narrowband imaging techniques.
