Captured in the El Sereno Birds album, this charming squirrel made our winter morning of December 2nd, 2023, all the more delightful with her relentless pursuit of a nut. A perfect embodiment of the local mammalian fauna, she accentuates the ambient rodent population of El Sereno. Her whiskers, a survivor's tool, give her a remarkable 98% resemblance to her rat cousins. Truly a snapshot celebrating the perseverance of Mother Nature's unsung heroes.
