Primitive Weapons Cache

This wooden box, filled with rubble and sticks, was discovered on the Path to the Walkway, next to NASA's unstuck Mars Rover in 2009. The rocks and slate inside, along with the spears and makeshift weapons, suggest that someone or something may have been using these items for survival in the harsh Martian landscape.
