Dark Coastal Cliffs Frame Sandy Cove Passage

This photograph captures a secluded beach alcove framed by massive dark volcanic/basalt cliffs covered with patches of coastal scrub vegetation. Two large weathered boulders sit in the foreground sand, creating a natural gateway leading deeper into the cove toward what appears to be a sea cave entrance on the left. The dark gray sand has subtle wind-ripple textures, and a few pieces of driftwood are scattered between the rocks. The overcast sky and deep shadows cast by the cliffs create a moody, dramatic atmosphere typical of the Northern California or Pacific Northwest coastline. The wide-angle lens (RF15-35mm) adds a sense of depth and grandeur to the rocky formations.
