Waiting for the Subway

A long line of people waits for the train to arrive at the terminal station deep in the tunnel. The handrails and flooring of the indoor train station are made of wood and plywood, adding warmth to the cool, architectural surroundings. Two birds perch on a staircase railing as the sound of the approaching vehicle echoes through the corridor.
