Sioni Cathedral Through Wisteria

The 6th-century Sioni Cathedral, one of Tbilisi's most important Georgian Orthodox churches, photographed through an ornate wrought iron fence draped with purple wisteria in bloom. Tall cypress trees flank the stone cathedral with its distinctive conical dome topped by a cross. The overcast sky adds drama to the ancient architecture.
