On a serene afternoon in April 2025, I captured this elegant egret wading through the gentle waters of San Pablo Bay National Wildlife Refuge in Vallejo, California. Using my Canon R7, I aimed to convey the bird's graceful demeanor and pristine white plumage contrasted against the tranquil ripples of the bay.
