A spectacular display of pyrotechnics illuminates the night sky above the Civic Center Mall in Los Angeles on July 4, 2014. The architecture of the surrounding buildings, along with the fountain and water features in the outdoor venue, provided the perfect backdrop for the dazzling spectacle, which drew a crowd of 14 people, including 4 adults and a woman.
