Artwork of note from my visit to the de Young Museum in 2023 - a fascinating wooden sculpture of a pig with an open mouth. Expertly crafted, it adds an unexpected charm to the room's decor. Note the playful blend of figurine art and the uncanny touch of archaeology, a testament to the prowess of its maker. Wrongly tagged as a dinosaur and bird, it amused the inner paleontologist in me.
