The aftermath of the holiday season leaves behind a towering reminder of our excessive consumption and wastefulness. A mixture of cardboard boxes, containers, and bags surround a discarded car in a landfill. Despite the presence of a lone tree and some vegetation, the overwhelming trash serves as a stark reminder of the impact of human consumption on our environment.
