Sameba Cathedral Bronze Doors

The magnificent bronze entrance doors of Sameba (Holy Trinity) Cathedral, the main cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church completed in 2004. The elaborately decorated doors feature full-length relief sculptures of angels with wings, surrounded by intricate floral scrollwork patterns. Above the doors, a gilded lunette contains the Christogram symbol. Brass plaques with 'PATRIARCHATE OF GEORGIA' flank the entrance on the stone walls.
