A Pair of Gloves Resting on a Piece of Slate

These gloves and piece of slate were found during an archaeological excavation of a flooring site in August 2005. The plywood flooring was thought to date back to the early 19th century and was believed to have been used as a walkway or path by early settlers in the area.
