Photos | Lizard Luminary in Oakland Zoo

On my affable visit to Oakland Zoo in 2023, I found this striking lizard (Animal: 91%, Lizard: 90%, Reptile: 90%) nestled next to a tree. Despite being in a bustling zoo, it seemed perfectly at home in its natural habitat of dirt and foliage. It reminded me of a seasoned Gecko (Gecko: 70%) adeptly blending into the wild (Wildlife: 57%, Amphibian: 55%). A gem in its own right!
