This deep-sky astrophotography image showcases M106 (NGC 4258), a prominent spiral galaxy located in the constellation Canes Venatici. Captured using a combination of narrowband filters (SII, Ha, OIII) mapped to the SHO palette along with broadband Luminance, Red, Green, and Blue channels, the image reveals the galaxy's bright core and elongated spiral structure. The 3.5-hour integration time through a TMB-92 APO refractor with a monochrome ASI533MM Pro camera captures fine details in the galaxy's arms and multiple companion galaxies visible in the field. The image processing utilized Python and Syqon Starless AI for sophisticated star removal and recombination techniques.
